In June 1991, Jean-Claude was awarded by President Jacques Chirac at the Elysee Palace, Paris, the gold medal of "Meuilleur Ouvrier de France". There is no higher title for a chef in France. Since then his great ambition was to own his own French restaurant and it took him several years to find the right place. In 2008, Jean-Claude's dream was realised when he became co-owner of the Beau Rivage Restaurant at Newstead Hotel, in Bermuda, where he enjoys cooking, creativity and making guests happy.
